:rolleyes: Are you guys tired of us pet sitters yet? I was very impressed with Terri's logo (creature comforts) so here I am. I'm located in Wyoming so I care for pets and livestock (mainly horses). Pretty new so I don't have a web page to refer you to. I'll be using the logo in ads, business cards, shirts (embroidered by me so the design can't be overly complicated). Some of the designs I've seen and really liked are sparkie - pet nanny, ElKootcho - creature comforts with all the animals (just trying to decide how hard it would be to digitize for embroidery), and ondarox - creature comforts. You guys seem to work pretty quick so let's go with July 20th for a date.

Can't wait to see what you all come up with!!!

Hi again! I was looking through some of the other contests and LOVE what Kimber did with The Lucky Dog. It would be great if it showed different animals (horse, llama, dog, cat, bird, rat?). You guys do awesome work and I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thanks Sparkie! Hmmm, colors, I'm a warm person myself and like greens and tans but I'm open to any ideas. The shirts I've bought to embroider are browns, green, and greys.

Thanks Sparkie. I do like it but was thinking more compact. Not necessarily square but more along those lines. It would look great for a letterhead though. I'm just not sure I could make it fit on the front pocket of a shirt very well. KWIM? <_< The horse is very cool though!!!

Oh! Hehe, yes that does pose a problem. What if, for the front shirt pocket, we put just the horse (or maybe a couple other animals, not the whole group) behind "Purr-furred pet care"?

I'm trying to get a handle on what you're looking for--do you like the mountains in some of those logos, or is it just that you'd like a sillouhette?

Hi Julie. I love mountains but don't live within sight of them so they don't need to be on the logo. It must be the sillouhette that I like. I didn't mean to limit what the design can look like. Just thought it would help if I mentioned a few that I enjoyed. I'm very open to ideas!!!

Hi Kimber. I really like it! :tup: The dog is hard to see though. Maybe just alittle more detail so you can tell it's a dog. Can we add a bird in there too? This type of design would work great for embroidery!

'Rox, I'm really not sure to be honest with you, I wrote
"Pet & Livestock" simply because she mentioned tending horses,
and although some people treat them as pets, technically they're livestock.

(How's that for an answer... I shoulda been a Politician --

Looks great Kimber! My business is new (less than 2 months) but growing fast. I've been putting Purr-furred Pet Care on my cards but adding livestock may be a very good thing. I'm in Wyoming and have the background to care for cattle, horses, goats, etc.

Ondarox - great to have you join in! Makes my decision harder though. :D I'll have to stare at it a while and then be back with comments.

ondarox - I'm not sure if it's just a color thing but I like the looks of the red and black better than the other. I'm still on the fence with my name (thanks Kimber LOL!). I don't suppose you could stick a birdie in there

Hello! First I want to thank those that submitted logos - Christian, Kimber, Ondarox, and Sparkie. It was a hard decision but I'm going with Ondarox, the green and orange one from the first group (not crazy about the color but I'm guessing that's an easy fix?). It should look great embroidered and is something I think will appeal to the livestock people around here. :tup:
