Simply Music! Studio - Prize: $40

I have a music studio that I am wanting a logo for. The logo will mainly be used for clothing articles and letterhead/stationary.

The studio is: Simply Music! Studio

I primarily teach Piano lessons, some Voice lessons and just a few Early Childhood Creative Movement lessons.

I begin teaching piano at age 5 - adult. Early childhood classes are for 3 and 4 year olds.

I have a web-site but it is a template through practicespot.com so I can not include a logo on it. For more information about my studio you can visit at www.simplymusicstudio.com

I really have no preferences to color or have any ideas.

I noticed this contest felt compelled to enter. A lot of ideas came to mind and I just came up with the following logo.

I took a look at your website and thought that the pink would look nice if applied to the logo. The musical theme in the logo also resonates with the name of your studio. I used a script font to evoke a classical feel which is often associated with the type of lessons that you provide.

I would appreciate feedback on the submission to see if there is anything more that you'd like included in the logo.

This is my first attempt at your logo. I have a few more ideas which I will be posting in the next few days.

I like the concept - actually really like the concept. The one thing I noticed - a music staff only has five lines. I really want to keep any musical symbols written correctly. Also, I like script but that one is a bit fancy for me.

Out of the three fonts I guess I like the first one the best. The staff still has too many lines.

I've been thinking. Since I teach and am trying to promote young children and music education, maybe I need something a little less formal. I'm more about teaching that music is fun and something to be enjoyed.

I like the first logo you designed. What about changing the piano to black and changing studio font to some type of block. I'm also not sure that I like the font for Simply Music!.

Like I mentioned to Crimson Designer - I am trying to promote music with young children. That music is fun and enjoyable.

Sorry, but I don't really like the second logo for my line of business.

I used to take piano lessons when I was younger - I sort of hated it because I could never get past that point where you're just playing the melody to where you are playing full compositions with the cords that make a piece sound full. I was pretty good at playing by ear, which made it harder to play by the sheet music; my piano teacher kept yelling at me for not using the metronome! (ironically, I find myself wanting to re-learn it now)

ANYWAY, I wasn't planning on entering this one, but I was doing some other work and actually got an idea for this. So:

I am so sorry your piano lessons were not enjoyable! Mine weren't either and I never counted! Mine did not nag about using a metronome - good thing because I did not have one.

Your logo is definitely on the right path. I can imagine it being used on t-shirts and sweatshirts as well as attractive on letterhead.

Thanks for the use of the bright colors, but I'm not sure that's the direction I am going. I definitely want the word studio included with the logo and the ! after music.

I've been looking your logo over. Is there any way to stretch out the word STUDIO. It seems to be getting lost down there in the bottom corner. I love the font for "Music".

Neat designs. Would you add an "!" after the word Music! Maybe play with the colors a bit - a like to use Red and purples. . . Change the script font on Simply to something a bit simpler. I want to emphasize the word music.
