Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
Land design Associates, Inc.
What type of product or service do you offer?Landscape Design & Installation
How long have you been in business?6 years. , have been in the industry for over 30 years.
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?Better name recognition. Also, I would like to attract the customer that has a preference for my design style.
What are your long term goals?
To stand out from my competition in both quality of design, job and name recognition. I want to pay careful attention to quality and detail.
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?March 17th, 2006
Audience Profile:Please describe your existing audienceThe Baby Boomers, Middle to upper income, White collar jobs. I deal with maybe a higher % of women over men. Upscale trend setters????
Who would you like to add to your audience?About 80% of my work is through other companies (subcontracting). I would like to design and install a greater % of my own jobs. This would be through word of mouth, advertising, web site, yard signs, brochure, and door hangers.
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?I want someone with an eye for design. Words that come to mind: Fashion forward but timeless, clean lines, void of heavy detail, unique, stylish, simple, organic, warm contemporary, and functional.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (If so, why?)Color- a warm, relaxed color palette with maybe a cooler color added. I would like a color and black and white version if possible.
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo? If there is a graphic that is used, I would like it to be able to stand alone, the same with the text. Below are two company examples that I like.
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business? To present a polished image of my business.
I would like the customer experience to equal his or her expectation.
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?I would like my Logo to reflect who I am as a designer. A fashionable look but timeless. I would like to update my business to look current.
Where will your new logo be used?
Business Cards, letterheads, stationary, web site, yard signs, brochures, and door hangers. Also clothing Jackets, vests, shirts, T-shirts.
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?I feel that being a Landscape designer, I need to set an image of creativity, otherwise why would they hire me. Most of my competitors don’t have an image of creativity.
What sets you apart from your competitors?
Being able to listen to their dreams and needs. Then designing functionally & creatively to fulfill this
Thank you ahead of time for your creativity. This is the first time I have used a freelance web site. Let the creative juices flow.
