Hi,

I need a logo for a small business I am setting up.

Contest Now Extended To: Midnight GMT 24th July.

Prize Money Now $100

DW Hosting & Design (DW = Darrell Wootton)

Open to suggestions on designs, can bulid site round new logo.

Needed for:

Web Logo
Business Cards
Letterheads

Strap Line: Designed For Business

What I plan to do in my new business:

Initially Bespoke Web Hosting and Web Designs (Aimed at local business market)
I also later plan to offer, database systems and other services ie: system analyst, systems support, NT Engineer, Win2K etc.

So logo or brand image MAY need to be multi-use, with a main recognisable image that can be re-used:

IE:
DW Hosting and Design
DW Bespke Database System
DW Support Services

3 - 4 Colours Max
I like Orange and Blue
Ideally would not want dark background.
Some form of graphics not just fancy fonts.

I use Adobe Photoshop 6, Fireworks MX, so can logo be compatible please.

Thanks for the posting. Unfortunatley it was not quite what I was fooking for, however the wording side is along the same lines as my first attempt with large bold wording.

Please feel free to post other than cat logo's, that was an idea thats been in the back of my mind, I have looked at some designs on this forum, I liked the Cubist designs, they looked good, but not sure of the what angle or link to what I am doing!!

I like the layout of the "simple and clean" not sure of the fonts.

Can you give me some other fonts and colours options please? In the same layout format.

Is there anyway of getting some graphics into the design, lines curves circles etc, forground or background, fully or semi visible?

G, it's not up to you whether the 2 go together. You should keep comments like that to yourself :). We provide what the contest holder asks for and do not normally question their decisions.

Hi Just G,

Please post other idea's, the more designs I see with the cat in them the more I am loosing the desire to use one.

I will leave it to your own descretion to come up with idea's, you know what its like, someone will post something that hits the right spot with me.

I am not sure what kind of an image or graphics will go with what my business will represent????

Spiders web, a designer drawing, internet, networks, computers, ????????

I am open to suggestions, I will know its right logo, when I see it.

Hello Darrell,
Just thought I'd add this one to the mix.
I thought I'd use a gryffon: Big Cat + Poweful + Legendary + Fast + Not Intimidated

If you like the Gryffon, but are not fancy on the fonts,
changing them is a snap.

Dont like the font used in the circle can you try some other and lower case variations?

I don't like the DW part or colour, the yellow\light orange.

Can you alter that please?
