I am looking for:

1) a horizontal logo that will top all the pages of
http://www.FreeKidsTrivia.comhttp://www.FreeKidsTrivia.com
approximate size 600x80. I want the words "FreeKidsTrivia.com" in the logo design.

2) a small 16x16 graphic element (taken from the design of the logo) that will serve as favicon.ico and as design element for headings on the site.

There is a start of a site at the URL (above) with some colors I have chosen... the site isn't complete, but you should get a good idea.

Theme should reflect: fun, trivia, quiz

Although the site name contains the word "kids" many of the questions are high-school or adult in difficulty.. so I don't want the design to totally focus on a "childish" look.

I will end the contest on Saturday March 18. Last time I did this, I seem to remember filling out aquestionaire .. so I'm not sure I've gotten all the pertinent info here.

Thanks for you efforts. I look forward to working with you.
Barbara

March 18

Audience Profile:
Please describe your audience:

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
fun, lively

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
See site at http://www.freekidstrivia.com for colors. Keeping the current colors will mean a background color of #9CCE31 for the logo.
(The new logo will replace the existing graphic that says "FreeKidsTrivia.com")

Where will your new logo be used?
The new logo will be used at the top of all pages of the website. I do NOT need a logo for print. It will only be used online.

This concept integrates two "?"s into a light bulb :)

I was feeling a bit rejected since no one posted a design for the first 10 days.. but I really like both of these :D

One comment for both J. Johnson and Mediagraph... can I see a version on a green background (#9CCE310)? Thanks.

For Mediagraph.... I'd rather the .com not be on top, but integrated into the design.

Thanks!

Barbara

Hi,

You've got an extra digit in the HEX (should be 6 characters). Is it the green on the site?

Modified color scheme as the original design used the same tones as the background.

Mediagraph.. I liked the version 1.1 better than 1.2. Too much red in the second one!

I like the fun, bouncy look. But I don't think the die relates to anything. I wonder what else you could put there?

Thanks!

I want to thank everyone for their designs. I have decided on J. Johnson's Version 2 with the green background.

Let's add the tagline:

"Fun Quizzes for Kids from 9 to 99"

and I'd like it to be approximately 700 pixels wide...

I use the little smiley face for 16x16 favicon and as a graphic element for the headers.

Thanks,

Barbara
