UK bloggers writing on all topics, but particularly parents, food and lifestyle/interiors. Predominantly women but with a strong male section, so no sex-targeted imagery.

ALL bloggers, from all niches – the tech and info we’ll concentrate on will be universally interesting to all those starting or expanding their blogging career.

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:

What type of logo would you like?
A sharp feel, creating energy and enthusiasm and interest. Wittily Corporate. A symbol plus the name would be useful, though we’re open to the name being used ‘as’ the symbol.

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
The hot end of the spectrum – we want to be the opposite of our competitors (pinks and blues) to demonstrate an entirely new offering. Also would like to inspire energy, immediacy and enthusiasm. The image needs to be bold and confident.

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
We’d like to not be too obvious – so no computers, smart phones or tech gadgets in there. The parent company uses the image of a classic space invaders pixellated alien – that might be fun and relevant.

Any symbol that has a potentially geek meaning would be good too – coding symbols, Debian spiral, a piece of fruit as an Apple-alternative… maybe something like a lightbulb or a mug… we’re really open to ideas, and would really love it if it could be something witty.

The most important point is that it needs a simple strong and recognisable shape/colour that will stand out in a small badge in crowded blog sidebar. The image also needs to work in large format on banners and at physical events. Landscape/Square preferred to portrait.

Looking for a re-design for amateur/non-profit soccer team.

Team name is: FC Biernadvl

This is a play on 'Beer and Advil', the original design was made in the style of a traditional English soccer badge/shield, where the shield portion was replaced with a beer mug with a subset small bottle of advil.

Team Colors: Black jersey. Green and White/Grey graphics and numbers will be on it. (see attached images- the blank jersey that will be used, the current badge, and the advertising graphic).

The attached advertising graphic will be in the center of the jersey, the badge being requested for design in this posting will be on the upper left chest; per traditional jersey design.


Would like to incorporate the team name into the badge, as is done in the attached example of current design. It is not required that the font, letter positioning, or banner style be kept. The 'N' will not be capitalized as it is in the team name of this current graphic.

Would be interested in seeing the 'beer' theme incorporated in a more serious, less campy manner - perhaps a more symmetrical, distinguished type of glassware, etc - but this idea not required.

Overall, a more professional look than the campy design put forth.

Please reference some professional soccer badges for some reference if unfamiliar with the sport; but please feel free to be as creative as you wish. We lean towards a more traditional/formal shield style, but an exciting modern look would be welcome to explore.

Feel free to respond with multiple iterations and we can work together to refine a vision.

CleanWafer is a tech start-up which has a patent-pending, disruptive technology for producing high-purity silicon at a fraction of current methods with zero carbon emissions (clean tech).

We are looking for a design which incorporates a green color scheme (green/clean tech). Other than that, we welcome the creativity of designers.

We do not have a website yet, but plan on using the logo on sites like angel.co for our next round of funding.
