Hi everyone,
We're looking for a design for a banknote for an online trading game called de <a href="http://www.rotterdamindex.nl">Rotterdam Index</a> (RIX). It's a virtual urban stock exchange for the city of Rotterdam in The Netherlands.
To give the project some attention we would like to print papermoney/banknotes that we can use as flyers. The note has a value of 5 RIX and has to contain the name and the link to the site.
I attached the logo of RIX and some pictures famous people/buildings that can used as inspiration.....
@Virgil, we need aformat for print, so pdf. or eps. would be fine.
@Grafissimo, excellent start. Is it possible to replace the statue for one of the buildings/bridges that i attached? Just to see the difference.
@Kekepania, nice start but we would like it to resemble a bank note a little more instead of a coupon or something. Maybe you could stress the value of 5RIX instead of just 5

We have spent an amazing amount of time looking at all the details you built into the notes!
We like the designs of grafissimo and virgil a lot because they look a lot like real notes. Some of the other designs are a bit more like coupons. Still very convincing but we have to limit our choices somehow! Virgil's one is nice also because it resembles an old Dutch that's no longer availabe. Probably alot of people still tecognizeit.
Grafissimo and Djaka (thanks for joining again!) showedusthe option to use some lines of text explaining something about the game. We think that's a great idea! It's something we would like the others to consider as well...
One other thing we would like you to consider isthat we're thinking of printing them in really large amounts. For that it wouldbe much cheaper to useonly one color. Right now, although I'm not totally sure, I think only grafissimo limited himself to one color.
And last afew personal notes:
@ imot: is it possible to replace the stadium. We're doubting whether football is an issue we would like to get involved with.
@djaka: the horizontal note is very convincing (resembling water), the decoration on the vertical one is less impressive. Is it possible to do something with the skyline again?

Hello Dennis,
Thank you for your feedback. I am happy that you observed the idea I've based my design on. It was meant to resemble the old five gulden banknote that's not available anymore. Maybe people will remember the banknote, and this should draw their attention to check the banknote further. I added some more text as you suggested, just the essence phrases of your business (didn't want the design to look busier).
If you could translate the "Online trading game" and "virtual stock exchange" into Dutch, I think that would add a strong local "feel". So, that's the idea behind the design: something from the "dutch finnancial past" brought to life again
About the colors: the design elements are based on the same shade of green.
@Grafissimo: we like the first version better. Could you make only a few minor alterations? Replace 'PLAY' with 'SPEEL MEE', delete the $-sign and put 'SPEEL MEE' there as well. As header we would like to change 'the ultimate online trading game' with 'het Rotterdamse wijkenspel'. the text 'virtual urban stock exchange' can be deleted as well. Thanks!

@bogglins: Thanks for your design. We think it's extremely beautiful, we like it a lot. But it's based on the same concept as Virgil's and we don't think it's fair to choose your design now.
Thanks for all the colors. We would like to stick with the green. Just a few final remarks. Is it possible to change the bridge forthe statue? Could you give the url a bit more presence? Could you delete the words 'De Rotterdam Index' underneath the logo? And make it 5 instead of 3 dots on the left?
