[Project Complete] Need Logo for Non profit school - $20

Hi,
We need a logo for our new non profit school.
The name is The Renaissance School.
Renaissance means rebirth and renewal and implies someone who is good at many things.
Our school was founded on the idea that children of all learning styles should find an environment where they can succeed.

One thought I have had is to use a butterfly with one side being the R as part of the wing and the other side being a wing that is lighter . But other ideas would be welcomed. We like nature and things relating to nature.
We are a K-5 school.
I look forward to what you can show us.
Also, I like muted greens.

Very Important: We need a design that can be resized to fit t shirts and small to fit letter head and the website.

Here is a first shot. I am going to also attempt a more playful 'R' revers 'R' butterfly. I'll post that soon. I look forward to your feedback.

Wow, you are on the right track, not at all what I was expecting.
I would like to see the R's more in a butterfly shape.
I also welcome other ideas. I will keep checking in.

Hi Djaka,
Not sure exactly what I would want changed. I am trying to make sure I know what I want before I ask.
We think we want to go with version 3 where the butterfly is part of the name.
We want to be sure to be able to resize the logo without losing any clarity as we will want it pretty big to put on T shirts and small for our webpage and printed materials. Is that a problem?

Hi Jan,
The logo can be resize to as big or as small as you want.
I will provide you with vector files that can be resized as you want without loosing the clarity of the logo. The vector files will be in EPS or AI (illustrator) that can also be opened in Adobe acrobat (reader).
I also will provide you with other files such as JPG, gif and PNG.

Hi Djaka,
I am not sure we are at the final design yet. I said on the 17th that I wanted to think about it a while. We had the holidays at school and then home so I have been busy. I really like the design but I am not sure I like those three colors.
Can you try some other color combinations. I would like more of the green. Just to see what it would look like. I am not a big fan of blue or orange.
I would consider a green on white also.
