While it's way too early to make a decision, your design looks very promising.

These designs are both very good, and both have their advantages and disadvantages, when compared to each other.

#2: This metallic design is very aesthetically appealing, but is missing a few things. I don't think it has enough blue in it, and it is also missing the PrestoSoft slogan. Product links in the home page, like in #4, would also be nice, and I think the laptop image is too generic. What I do like: I like the overall design as well as the three-solumn layout. I also like the BlueBlack motif, and find that it complements the logo very nicely.

#4: I like the placement of the slogan and breadcrumbs. I like the look of the circular screenshots, but there is too much white space between them, so I'm not sure if they are a good idea. The two-pane layout can be a problem, especially with pages that have a lot of options on the left navigation bar (like http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp?page=edp_examdiffpro). Also, the search-box arrow seems a bit out of place.

Both #2 and #4: Can I see how http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp?page=edp_examdiffpro will look with your templates? I'm especially interested in how the categories of the left navigation menu would look.

Nice designs!

#7: Not a bad template, but a bit too plain for my liking. Also, the two-pane layout suffers the same problems described for #4. However, one thing I really like is the computer image.

#8: This is an interesting concept. It looks good overall , but the left navigation menu is kind of ugly. Also, I don't like the location of the search bar - I think it should be located more to the right.

#10: Better, but I still don't really like the left menu. Is it possible to make it a bit more graphical, like the one in #2?

Sure, but can I ask if the navigation links I have on the left are correct or do you have something else in mind?

The links don't really matter. I need to see what the menu will look like, the links are actually generated from files in ASP scripts (we have 4 different link files -- see them at
http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp
http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp?page=ps_products
http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp?page=edp_examdiffpro
http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp?page=fvc_ftpvc
although I'm thinking of eliminating the Products page altogether).

I'm seeing a lot of two-pane templates, as opposed to three pane templates. The problem with two-pane templates is that with pages like http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp?page=edp_examdiffpro we have a lot of left nav menu items, and also a long testimonials section on the right side. I don't know how you will be able to fit all this into a two-pane layout.

#!4: This looks a lot better, but I'm not a big fan of those arrows. I still think the menus could be improved.

#15: Looks much better than your old one. A question: why do you have a "View Online Demo" label? Also, I think your design may be a bit wordy, and still not attractive enough.

#17: This one looks very promising. I like the small "Latest News" box, but I still don't know if the two-pane design is a good idea. I also like the emphasis on "user-driven" and the links to different product pages. I don't think the "Navigation" button should appear on the menu.

All: Can you please show me what http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp?page=edp_examdiffpro will look like with your templates? This page is really the central page of our site (similar pages are http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp?page=edp_examdiff and http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp?page=fvc_ftpvc).

#19: This page will look very good as a homepage. I especially like the left menu and the new images that you are using. Can I see what http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp?page=edp_examdiffpro would look like? (I am now interested in what the right and especially top section of the page will look like.)

Here are 2 posibilities. Note: I reduced the size of some of the content to avoid making the sample too long in the forums.

#21: the first design looks better. What's missing: the page title and breadcrumbs for navigation.

#22: don't really like it. The top picture is too large and too generic; I don't like the boxshots (prefer not to have them); the overall design is not appealing.

#24: No, I don't think this will work. There's a lot of unused space on the right of the title and the breadcrumbs. Also, I'd like something more creative for both, something more distinct.

OK, since no other designers are posting anything, I think I will post more comments for will's design.

There are 3 more things I want to see:

1. There are a lot of tables in our current site, and I would like to see how well your template renders the tables. For example, can I see what http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp?page=edp_pricing and http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp?page=ps_contact would look like? (These pages are not very consistent in our current site.)
2. I would like there to be "Download Now" and "Buy Now" buttons near the top of the ExamDiff Pro page.
3. The "New" graphics that we use do not work well with your template. Can you make your own "New" graphics? Also, please remove the "new!" text from the left menu - we feel it is unprofessional.

Other than that, I think your design is very good!
