Hey gang,

This is a simple logo (One or 2 color) for an Improv Comedy Group that serves as a ministry...

The group is called "Not the Man Improv"

This logo will go on some print and t-shirts... as well as a website... take a look at some other improv comedy websites to get an idea... we usually use funny props including slinkys, bells, bowling pins... etc... the logo should be simple enough to read, but also reflect the kind of fun and laughs you'll get at one of our shows...

Thanks for your help...
check out these websites for ideas...

We're really aiming at teens and college students... you don't necessarily need top use the props that I have listed, but we're looking for something edgy with a little bit of attitude...

Unhappy

Per artwork desired: are you looking for something in vector or pixel image. By the way what is it like at one of your shows and what do you mean by the term "Not The Man"?
Just trying to get a better feel for this logo! Could this ministry be in or near a big city? Thanks, I'll try a revision tomorrow.

It would need to be a vector image...

Not the Man is a fast-paced, hilarious improv group ... playing improv games much like those seen on Whose Line is it anyway...

The meaning behind the name is sort of an inside joke... I had a friend one day tell me that I'm "Not the Man" for a job only to turn around and ask me to apply for the position just weeks later... prompting the response "I though I'm... NOT THE MAN!" So basically the group is made up of a few rejects and we use that as our team's message... I'm NOT THE MAN... but Christ is!

I even invisioned shirts that look like a name tag sticker that would say Hello I'm:Not the Man...
Maybe that would be an idea for a logo??

And we're based out of West Palm Beach so it could maybe be considered a big city...

Thanks,

Wayne

G)(G,

I like the red name tag logo!! Maybe just a few changes...

I'd like for you to drop the Quotation Marks on Not the Man...

Thenmake NOT THE MAN bigger than "IMPROV"

Also change improv to read improv comedy... (But much much smaller than Not the Man)

Keep the arm... I like it for some reason... Maybe if it was holding a rubber chicken.... hmmmmm
Thanks!

We're almost there... small changes...

No cross on the bicep, or anywhere really on the logo...

Make "Improv Comedy" even smaller... and Not the man bigger

Make the bicep smaller...

Let's see what that looks like... I'd also like to see a version with no bicep at all and just the text logo...

Thanks man,

Wayne

I think we're just about done... I like the second one on your latest post... but with no bicep or chicken...

Can I please have it emailed in a vector eps file... but also a file that has all of the layers so that I can separate the elements for printing?

And can I get a pure black and white file of the logo as well for black and white printing? As well as the layers?

Thanks...

Congratulations and you can email it to wayne@communityofhope.org
