[ProjectClosed][Due Sept 18] New modern logo for photographer $200

(Admin code added by Palmer - 8U109168A11076256)

Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
sabrina huang photography (prefer small cap but open to ideas)

What type of product or service do you offer?
Commercial Photography specializes in Food and Interior for now but will expend to other still life objects in the future

How long have you been in business?
I just finished photography school and ready to start my business.

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?

* Introduce my name and photography style into the Commercial/Advertising/Editorial photography marketplace
* Attract Clients to my site, receive more assignments for the subjects I am focus on
* Grow business to a 6 figure income in the future

What are your long term goals?
My long term goal is to expand from primarily shooting locally to regularly shooting nationally and internationally.

When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
Friday Sep 18th.

Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
photo editors, art directors, cookbook writers in the Commercial/Advertising/Editorial photography market.

Who would you like to add to your audience?
More of the above

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
I like simple and modern design. I like dwell/metropolitan magazines, Scandinavian design, DWR furniture and Mac. Moreover, I am Taiwanese, so if the design add a little bit asian flavor with Western twist would be cool too. I'd like text with a graphic element, but I'm open to ideas.

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
My husband has a real estate team call “mesh” with orange and two shades of grey as logo (www.themeshnetwork.com). So I was thinking to keep the color theme to make it feel like Partnership Company but I'm open to ideas too (think apple iPod, I like their colors, makes me feel cheerful).

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
Nothing specific that I want, but make sure it is timeless design and genderless. It would be great if whichever fonts used are not available only as part of some mega expensive type library.

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?

My current EDU Livebooks site is www.sabrinahuangphotography.com. I want my branding to attract more advancing clients who like simple, modern design and appreciate with the same style of photography that I want do.

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
I love to laugh, love to learn and love to dream but I am low key. I am not sure if there is a way to convey some of that in the logo. I want my logo to give a viewer the impression that my images will be different and interesting.

Where will your new logo be used?
Business cards, web site, stationary, and other printed products such as advertisements, etc.

Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?

Some of my competitors have well designed logos, some have out-dated logos.

What sets you apart from your competitors?
I am fun to work with and I am very detail-oriented, a little bit OCD. I speak three different languages, travel many countries, love to meet people from different cultures, and respect different cultures. I am always learning and love learning something new everyday.

Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:

Don’t have one.

Thank you all in advance for your design,

Sabrina

Thanks Stephanie (glyphica) for being the first one offer me a design. I like the simplicity design and the personalize element on the "SH" but would like to see it add a bit more . . . fun, stylish, perhaps? Not sure if I am using the right words but I think this one is a good start and right direction in terms of simplicity design style but I feel like it can become something a bit more and interesting. I think your "g" logo is simple and fun and different too. I look up your portfolio and think your personal design style is simple/clean/stylish already so we just need to explore a little more for mine.

There are a few design from your portfolio that caught my eye - JD Cooper, Capital web design, Lucy Lime (from logo page).

Thanks again,

sabrna
