Miscellaneous Project Summary
We need some items for our Information product that includes a 58-page workbook and audio on how to start a successful business. It is for entrepreneurs who are just starting a business or for those already in business looking to get their business on track.
Please review our website: www.dreamcaptain.com so you can get an idea of our branding and the feel that we would like for each of the items we need. The idea behind Dream Captain is that the entrepreneur is the “captain” of his/her business “ship”. We help them chart a course and navigate strategically to achieve their desired business goal of having a successful business.
Tagline: Chart your course, navigate strategically and arrive in style!
The title of the e-book/workbook is From LOST to BOSS™ – The Business Owner Success System™. We’ve attached the Table of Contents and Introduction so you can get a feel for the program.
It is a step-by-step guide on how to start a successful business including: setting goals and discovering your passion, visualizing, creating the necessary business structures, choosing a business model, finance, etc.
We need the following items. Text in all should be “From LOST to BOSS™”:
• A Cover for the Workbook that will be the first page.
• A header to include in the workbook.
• An ebook cover .jpg to use on the sales page.
• A physical product rendering
We have included a few images that you can incorporate into each of the designs. They should all have a cohesive fit and consistent feel.
*We would like the image to look like an ebook cover, rather than a regular book.
* Perhaps a little more emphasis on the nautical theme and more in line with the branding on our site: dreamcaptain.com
*I think I would prefer it without the silhouette on the cover.
Thanks so much and I look forward to seeing the revisions. Don't forget about all of the images you can choose from.
We really like your last design with the lantern. A few changes,
*Please remove the spiral as we won't have it spiral bound.
*Could you replace the tagline to: Chart a Course, Navigate Strategically, and Arrive in Style
*Under Dawn Fleming at the bottom, could you change it to say: Creator of the Business Owner Success System™
**This is going to be in a 3-ring binder. Could you also create a matching 1" binding title graphic to insert on the side of the binder?
Here is the revised design..
Please check.. If there's no more revision need, I will attach the flat front cover for you...
What's the size for the header? 850 x 150 pixels ?
Thanks!
-Pieter

Actually, the tag line should be smaller font, in the same dark blue area as the Dream Captain Logo. It's my brand tag line so it needs to be more subtle and not detract from the book title and tag line. You may want to right justify the logo now that the spiral had been removed. I'm sure you know better than I what will look best
Otherwise it's perfect!
For the header, it should fit within the printed workbook pages of 8.5"x11" and within 1.0" margins.
Thanks for all of your work.

We were going to use the header you created for the binder insert. I'm wondering if you have the report cover .jpg in a flattened version so we can use as the front cover for the workbook? It looks great for website, but a flat version of the exact same image would work better for the pdf cover. Thanks!
