[Project Complete] Cyber Security Company Character/Mascot - $250

(Admin code added by Palmer - 0DN887898S3274731)

I am looking to have an internally facing company mascot/character to be used for stickers and t-shirts that is based on a play of the word “Crypsis” (the name of our company). We are a cyber security company and I would like the logo to be playful, sharp, fun, versatile, cool, smart, and “cyberish” (if that makes sense). I am looking for a character that is sort of a ninja lizard (kinda gecko ish). The word Crypsis means to be able to adapt to surrounding colors as some lizards are able to do. I am providing some inspiration photos that I grabbed from the web of various lizards and ninja type characters.

Our Name: Crypsis
Our Curent Logo/Pic: We are not looking to change
Our Tag Line is: Respond Prevent
Colors are Red and black ...see website link for color and pattern below
Our website is: CrypsisGroup.com

The pattern in the attached photo should be incorporated into the skin of the lizard. I would lean more toward the cartoony side, but not to soft (with a little bit of a hard edge and attitude). Should be in a pose and setting that is ninja and cyber like. Here are a couple of pics for inspiration: a ninja and a lizard.

https://goo.gl/images/yoC7ND
https://goo.gl/images/iSd9GG

On this page is an example of our color and pattern.
http://www.crypsisgroup.com/incident-response

If you scroll down to the text "WHAT SERVICE IS RIGHT FOR YOU?" You will see the red and hexish background. This red should be incorporated and the hex pattern should be incorporated into the lizards skin somehow.

Please take into account future plans for the mascot (once a winner is chosen) is to hire the designer for additional versions both male and female in different poses/settings. So the character should be versatile.

Please let me know if I missed something, you have any questions or need further inspiration. Thank you.

Designers, this is not a typical logo project, it is more of an illustration so keep that in mind.

VERY IMPORTANT: Remember that any character or illustration you create MUST be completely original.

Please review this thread of posts in the Designer's Forum to understand what this means.

Thank you!

Looking for something more "fun", didn't mean to imply that the character had to be kicking. I was using the kicking ninja because I love the "look" of he ninja. Also, the pattern and color were to be incorporated, wasn't thinking of using it to cover the entire illustration.

Thanks

Hello
I would like to present this as my idea for your Mascot.
He's a little different... I chose to use your hex-pattern in his suit, rather than his skin, as I thought this looked better - less busy, visually. He's also holding one of the hexes... like a throwing star.
I gave him an impish grin, that says: "C'mon... just TRY to get by me."

I would appreciate your feedback.
Respectfully,
Kimber

I'm in. This is interesting. Can I show a sketch first before I render?

Nothing is hitting on mark, but so far really liking the #5 from IM3D the most and it has inspired me in a slightly different direction that I would like to take... It looks a lot like a dinosaur and we have a tool called Cryptosaurus, so lets push it a little more in that direction... keep the general fun look, but maybe a bit more like a t-rex. remove the sword and badge. No need for the Crypsis prevent . respond text...

Winner IM3D!

Thanks everyone!! Great Stuff!

I would like to do some very small edits, but would like to go with IM3D!

IM3D, could I send you a style guide file via private message and ask you to the green color from it for the eyes, the blue for the mask, and the font to add Crypsaurus under the character?
