Project Summary

Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
Fleurtations Floral

What type of product or service do you offer?
Custom floral design for weddings and events (mostly specialize in weddings)

How long have you been in business?
5 years
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
A professional image.

What are your long term goals?
To grow my business and get my name out there more among brides.

When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?April 5th - 9th but I am pretty flexible. Today is april 6th and I have a couple advertising deadlines come up sooner than I expected. If I could get the logo as soon as possible that would be great!!!!

Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
Mostly women from approx age 18-30.

Who would you like to add to your audience?
I dont really need to add anyone....this is really my target market.18-30 year old females

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
I would like something simple but "flirty" and lighthearted but NOT cutesy. Fresh and FUN. I was thinking just the way you make the font could be flirty and the logo identity portion could be the way you make the "F" perhaps a scrolly "F" somehow weaved in with a flower or something. It should appeal to a young bride audience and get their attention. Catchy logo to go with a catchy name!!!!! Fleurtations!

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
watermelon pink and lime green but I want just the it to look just as good in black too. Perhaps the writing part could be in black but if you add any other elements they could be in color but i am open.

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
Not other than the lettering itself with an attention getting "F" with a flower somehow attached. I dont want any wedding related icons in it.

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business? Creative, Fresh, Fun, lighthearted, sophisticated, up-to-date, progressive.

What is your tagline or slogan?
"A Fresh, Fun Approach to Wedding Floristry"

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
Upbeat, chic, lighthearted, youthfull, creativity.

Where will your new logo be used?
Brochures, business letterhead, AND the side of a vehicle.

Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
Other florists, but not many of them are JUST wedding florists. They usually have icky FTD logos.

List competitive URLs if possible
alacartefloral.com

What sets you apart from your competitors?
I specialize in weddings and run my business from a studio so I dont have the distractions of a storefront.

I hope I have not been confusing. Here is a link to my flyer that will really give you a feel for the "feel" I want. I would like the new logo to go in the existing "Fleurtations Floral" green box. http://www.fullcolorusa.com/fluertations then click on "front". Dont bother looking at the back. Thanks so much. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Jenna

I think #1 at the top is closest to what I was thinking!

Hi Kekepania, (the first submitter)
I like the direction you are headed the best. I love the font you chose but I'm not crazy about the flower. Could you somehow make the flower not so cutesie and more sophisticated but lighthearted. Is there a way to weave the flower in with the "f" or behind it somehow with maybe artsy confetti stuff falling around the word "fleurtations". Floral does not have an "S". Thanks.
Thanks for your help.

Hi designers,
I have been hit all of a sudden with some new advertising promotions that I am going to be doing soon. I am wondering if we can go ahead and start the revision process on the first logo by kekepania. I need it as soon as possible. I described the changes I am hoping to on another reply above. Thanks for your help.

not quite it! Flower is too big too. If there a way to make the flower more a part of the "F" ? COuld you chesk out the ad where the logo will be going at the link given above in my project description. Check out the rose in the background. I like the sophistication of that .
Thanks!!!

HI,
Here's my idea. Could you put a sophisticated flower that is a little more defined than the rose but that does not look like a wheel behind the text kind of faded slightly. Then....if that does not look good, I think I will just use the text with the line under it like you have it as my logo along with the wallpaper that I currently have on my brochure that you linked to. =) thanks.

Hi,
I know you are probably really busy. If possible, it would be nice if I could get the revision on the logo because I have an advertising deadline that is upon me! I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Okay, here's the final consensus. I love the font but I also think my logo should be a logo and have a flower of some sort in it. So, lets go back to the very first design you submitted and use THAT flower in the same placement; except the "inside" part of it only. (without the pink outer part)
Maybe you could make the flower in the pink color with the green center and for the black, could it just be the outline of the flower not filled in. Thanks. I wont make any more changes after this cuz I'm out of time! Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I have to have the logo by tomorrow morning at the LATEST for an ad deadline. However, I am not really sold on the logo as is. Would it be possible for you to send me the logo with just the font so I can use that for the advertisement for now deadline and then I can you send you a drawing of the way I would like the flower on it so we can get more on the same wavelength? Thanks!

Jenna
