Design Outpost Creative Brief Worksheet

Project Summary:

We need a logo for a new website called FitnessFountain.co.uk (the site is NOT running yet and does not have a design yet) the logo should be created in vectors and be supplied in adobe illustrator format in outline format. Please do not use any bitmaps.

Budget is $145

What type of product or service do you offer?
Health supplements and fitness equipment

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
It should be very clear with memorability, customers should be able to remember it easily after viewing the logo

When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
14th august 07

Audience Profile:
Fitness and health customers ages 18 to 50

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
Must be slick looking, suggesting fitness and health in a modern style, any symbol or device used should have a trust worthy look.

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
Primeraly tasteful blue tones to ties in with the word fountain

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?

Nothing restrictive, we however want the words,

Fitness Fountain and .co.uk clearly shown

We'll leave the image icon up to you, we dont want any photographs used.

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?

What is your tagline or slogan?
"Delivering Health and Fitness Fast"

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?

To buy our product range
Where will your new logo be used?
On the web and on stationary

Targeted Message:
Fast delivery of health related products which improve your fitness levels

Hi elogonics,

Thats a good start, I like the use of the double F mirrored device in the splash there, could you give some examples with variations on the Fitness Fountain font selection, it looks far too close the text holder one we are already using on the site.

Thank you for the great submissions so far:

Here's a few comments:

NHR:
I like the design and use of colours there, the font and the layout of the actual text is good aswell, I'm not overly convinced by the circles, could you show some variations on it,

Elogonics:
I've shown the logo to some other people, there's a divide amongst them some of them are feeling the icon device is looking very close to a bouquet of flowers and the overall feel is looking very much like a beauty spa instead of a fitness site, i'm fighting my better judgement on that one because I really like it but I can see thier point.

I assume the logo has been done in scalable vectors in illustrator format?

Scalable vector, of course

Can be delivered in every vector format: Illustrator, CorelDraw, EPS...

Elogonics I really liked your logo and your concepts, unfortunately we didn't feel it was quite right for the style of the site.

Unorthodox, thanks for the entries, unfortunately we didn't feel either matched what we were looking for.
