Here's the box.
I just have to ask you to make it clear for me:
Is this box really that big (26 inches)?
And what kind of measure is 26 and 5/16 (???)
I apologize foe my ignorance, but in Europe we use the metric system. I understand measures like "26,3 inch" but "26 and 5/16" I'm really not sure what that means...
Sorry, and thanks,
here's the BOX

Thanks for the invite Angie. What's the scale of the template? It's not at 1:1.

Alternatura - Hi. Yes, it is that big. In the box, we are going to roll up the posters we had designed. The posters measure 24" long so we left a bit of room in the box.
I'm sure you realize this, but the copier image etc on the cover is upside down. It needs to face the other way, if you know what I mean. But I guess for now leave it as is, so I can see what the design looks like (without trying to turn my head upside down to view it, haha).
On the front lap, please remove the title and put the slogan. You dont need to have the slogan in the stamp effect. Just the text is fine.
On the cover, please remove the logo. Please move the copier image to the left side. Put the title on the top right hand side, and the quote below it. Please adjust the quotations in the quote, as they are backwards.
On the side flaps, please remove the phone symbol beside the phone number.
The background looks a bit too busy. Maybe a bit less ghost image.
Also, could you please post the image bigger.
Thanks!

OffBeat Design - Hi. Thanks for working with us again.
The template is not actual size. It is more a diagram of what the box will look like. The measurements on the diagram though are the actual measurement size. Does the clarify?
Please put the slogan on the front flap, instead of the title. Remove the title from the back flap.
Please move the title to the cover. Please remove the logo.
For the background, try blending our blue color in with the black. As an example only, please see: http://www.printaudit.com/temp/blue_black_box.jpg
Thanks!

Offbeat Design - could you please remove the red lines from your posting, as its kind of hard to see the actual image.
Thanks!

To All - this is an example of what the box looks like folded. It will just be longer in length: http://www.printaudit.com/temp/mailer5.gif
Keep in mind this is a small image. The actual size of this box is 8.5" x 11" x 2".
For the box we need designed - these are the measurements converted into centimeters:
26 11/16 "= 67.786 25 centimeter
26 5/16" = 66.833 75 centimeter
8 5/8" = 21.907 5 centimeter
26 7/16" = 67.151 25 centimeter
39 3/8" = 100.012 5 centimeter
If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Thanks.

Offbeat Design - Let's try it with the blue background and the blue text a bit darker.
Thanks.

Offbeat Design - can you please start the blend from blue into black halfway through the cover?
Also, can you please make two posts after making that change...one like you have been posting them, and then one like it actually will be printed. The cover will actually have to be flipped the other way (as right now its upside down) So the slogan will actually be in the black faded part on the bottom.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thanks!

To make it easier I just flipped the entire template. On this one I kept the blue at the bottom.

Offbeat Design - with the black on the bottom one:
Please remove the blue title from the back flap. Please blend a bit more black into the cover (move the black up a bit).
Thanks!

Alternatura - please blend more black into the design.
Please make the quote bigger. Stretch it out a bit more on the cover.
Please remove the slogan from the cover, and replace it with the title.
Thanks!

TO ALL - this contest is now closed. Thank you for all submissions.
The winner is OffbeatDesign. Congratulations! - In your last post, the text on the right side flap looks like there are spots through it. Can you please fix that?
Thank you!

Do you have a 1:1 template for me to setup the artwork? With package design it's important to get everything as close to perfect as possible as there is very little room for error. Alternatively, I can give you each panel individually and the printer can assemble.

Angie,
Here's a larger image as a final proof. Please check it over and let me know if you have any last minute changes.
I received the PM regarding bleed and will make sure that is taken care of.
