[Project Complete]$150 - Due July 23rd - Fresh and colorful photographer's logo

Admin code added by Abby - 1AW570266H209343F

-------DESIGNERS, PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM CHANGING THE DIRECTION OF MY LOGO. DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND MY CONTROL, THE PINWHEEL WILL NOT BE USED AT ALL IN MY DESIGN-----------

Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?

Angela Crutcher

What type of product or service do you offer?

Artistic and modern portraiture for expecting moms, babies and young children.

How long have you been in business?

6 years

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?

More sophsciated branding, but still staying unique, fresh and whimiscal.

When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?

July 23

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?

I want something whimiscal, yet sophiscated. Something that is hip, fresh, colorful, fun, but not too cutsey. I want to be unique and classy but still show my fun side!

I have a logo right now, and I loved it for a long time, but feel that it is just a bit too cutsey for me now. I am ready to ditch the ladybugs!

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)

I really like the colors in my current logo and would like to keep them:

4E360A-----this one is used only a small ammount.
FFAD4D
FB52A3
54BFDF
BCBA1A
FEE320

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?

Maybe a vintage (but colorful) camera or modern (colorful) squares or a colorful umbrella.

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?

What is your tagline or slogan?

Finding The Art In Life

I would like to incorporate my tagline in the logo

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?

That I am an artistic, yet fun photographer, full of fresh and unique ideas.

Where will your new logo be used?

website, blog, promotional materials, packaging, watermark

Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company

Angela Crutcher Photography is known for colorful images full of emotion, whimsy and style.

The following is a link to the designer that created my current logo:

http://mydoodlebugdesigns.blogspot.com/

I hired her because I liked how show incorporated color and fun into her designs.

My website is:

www.angelacrutcherphotography.com

I would like for my new logo to match the style of my images, the music featured on my website and the overall feel of my website.

Hi Carol,

I like the color combinations a lot. Could I see what it would look like with the word 'photography' bigger?

Offbeat Design, Jeff, I like the simpleness of the fonts and I like the colors but I'm not too fond of the pin wheel. Can I see a few varaitions?

On the Spot, I love how my name looks but I'm not diggin the box that the pin wheel is in.

Deanna, I'm liking this a lot! The color scheme and pinweheel are great!

Carol, version 2 is really awesome! Can I see some varations of the placement of the squares? Maybe try the squares on the bottom left hand side of the logo?

ooo, Deanna, version 4 is wonderful!!

Unorthodox, I see where you are going with the concept, but I think it lost the "fun" feel of my style of work. It almost seems too....corporate.

Unorthodox, I like it, but don't think it is the direction I would like to go in.

Here's a thought that I was just throwing around in my mind:

I collect vintage cameras and I was thinking it would be neat to try out a design with a vintage (but colorful) camera.

I would love to see a few different designers try this idea out!
