[Project Complete] Due Aug 2nd : $75 : Quilting Experts Banner Ad?

Admin code added by Abby - 7TT55164E9789084T

Hi there,
I am after a banner ad for a quilting site that interviews expert quilters from around the world and records their quilting stories, quilts and life journeys/stories.

Being quite creative people, it is specifically for quilters (women aged 45+)

i am also after a flat icon with a similar look.

The banner needs to have the header
Legendary Quilters
and a smaller sub-head saying 'Ideas and Inspiration...'

It would be great for it to look fresh, crisp and have quilting/friendship images/photos...?

Look forward to your visual interpretations....

Thanks,
C.

Hello,

What size should the banner be? 468x60? 728x90? or?

Is the web address given the URL of the site?
Did you want the url of the site on the banner?
Animated or static?

Icon size and format?

I'm sure several of us will jump in once we know a little more.

Thanks!

Details are good 1....

Hi - details....great!

Ok...
1) www.LegendaryQuilters.com is the name of the site the banner is promoting (soon to be launched - very exciting!)
2) The size of the banner - 635 x 120 (or close enough)
3) Static, thanks.
4) url included would be great
5) Icon size 110 x 97 (or close enough)
6) Icon format...jpg?

Let me know if I can help with any further details.

What about a bright hot pink color being used somewhere? (just an idea - you are the creative ones!)

look forward to your legendary designs...
thanks!

Smile Thanks for your design....

Hi Jennifer
Thanks for your design! - and for replying to my post.
I like it.
Am I able to ask...
1)Would we be able to change the colour scheme to a pinky/red one rather than brown tones?
2) Can we make the title bold and white - so it stands out against a darker background?
3) I like the photos...is it possible to also include a photo/s of a quilt or hands/ladies sewing a quilt?

Thanks Jennifer - I appreciate you being able to translate my idea into a reality.

Did you want the quilting pic to replace one of the other two?

Nearly there...

Hi Jennifer

1)The three photos look good - or do you think we need 4 and in a window-like manner?
2) Can we made the font of the title different/clearer or make the background less 'busy' so it stands out - so it is the first thing your eyes are attracted to?
3) What about the colour pink being more lighter?
In the first example you gave me the colour was more pastel (I was wanting it to look light, clean and fresh)

By any means - it is coming along nicely. Really appreciate you work and help.

Thanks,
C.

looking good...

Hi Jennifer
Love the font in v5 - very clear.
1) Can we still change the colour theme to a pink/light pink one?
2) May I change 'Ideas and Inspiration' to
'Their Lives. Their Quilts. Their Stories. - Your Inspiration!'

Almost there...thanks!

oh yeah

Hi Jennifer
Great!
The colour is good - it is looking almost complete...but please forgive me.
1)The title does not stand out as well. It kinda fades into the background...Perhaps we should go for a 'hot pink' background - so the words stand out as well as before? (I am really just pulling at straws here....)
Do you have an idea/suggestion for making the title and words stand out and be the first thing that hits you and you see?

You are doing such a fab job. I am so grateful.

Yes; I agree, the white pops more against the brighter/darker colors.

Big Ask?.....

Hi Jennifer,
Thank you so much for your previous help. Please forgive me....I was not able to use your previous designs - as my partner changed the focus...(and I think for the better)

We have now agreed - we need a clean, simple banner, no photos, clear font and to be able to use the words and font/feel for our branding.

To make things quick and easier for you - I have attached a copy a banner we really like, and we would love something similar (see Traffic Secrets header). I have also attached a copy of another simple version - with a clear font and the colours we are after (bright pink and red)

If you are able to do something like the TrafficSecrets header with our words and colours - that would be great!

Looking forward to your thoughts,

Appreciatively,

Cinaea
