With Halloween approaching I thought it would be appropriate to find out what are your biggest fears. What gives you the willies, the heebie jeebies. Fess up
Personally I kind of freak out in closed spaces. It's not claustrophobia, there's another name for it I can't remember now. It's more of a fear of being locked in or being in a crowded place with no sign of an easy exit.
I also don't like basements and attics too much. I especially hate basements with steps that are not closed in. You know, the uneasy feeling that someone is going to grab your ankles as you're walking up the steps? Yikes. I have the same feeling when I get in to bed. I do not let my feet get too close to the side of the bed when I get in for the same reason.
Your turn

Heights. Hat 'em with a passion.
That's why I'm going skydiving next year
I also hate bugs that fly. Just the flying nes. They always flutter around your face, pisses me off.

That's a form of agoraphobia... and welcome to my world! :o

Let's see...
I wouldn't have thought about feet dangling over the bed, but now that you mention it, I can't do that either. It's just not safe
Flying!!!! How can people not freak out in a tin can 30,000 feet in the air?!
Walking through an invisible strand of a spider web. Where's the spider? WHERE'S THE SPIDER?! IS IT ON ME?!!!!

Fear factors:
1. Public speaking and job interviews
2. Nothing else really
...maybe finding an unexpected insect crawling on me....yeeeesh, you should see my reaction, it's so funny. I jolt quicker than snapping a mouse trap

I used to have a slight fear of flying, but it's different after 9/11. Not worse, really, just different. I heard a DJ put it succinctly recently (the syndicated Bob & Tom show, if anyone else out there listens), when he said: "You get the sense that after 9/11 there are 50 people on every flight just itching to kick your *** if you try something."
I guess I'm one of those 50. My approach to flight is much different now. I size up potential threats, play through scenarios in my head of how to stop each threat, then wait through the flight to see if my services will be needed. With each flight I take I have to be ready and willing to take on all comers, because each one could be the last. A little fatalist, yes, but I prefer to be prepared.
Other than that, I have a slight fear of heights.
