Looks like the new badges don't stand out enough

They do stand out but since I asked to become a member almost 1 month ago I never got nothing then I decided...to try out anyway

I really feel being unfair not letting everyone participate to a contest but I can understand the reasons for such a decision.

What is the usual delay to be accepted as an authorized contestant.

I split the thread.

So instead of contacting the person who runs the site you decided to just enter a contest without any regard to the guidelines and rules of this site. Do you think that type of disrespectful behavior is something we look for in members of the Design Team?

It takes a long time to get on the team, most people never get invited. I hate how this sounds but it's a privilege not a right, to be invited. It is much more professional to contact the people who run the site and ask them if they could consider your application again then to just take matters into your own hands and break the rules.

I really don't think I did something wrong.

But I understand your point of view and I'll be more careful over the rules from now on.

It's true that I should have tried to enter in contact with the sites responsibles.

So I'll do that.

Palmer,

There is a redirect option with the new invisionboard now, im not sure how it works exactly but maybe you can make use of that. So when people view the template or logo forums they are reffered to a page which spells out.

To enter contests you must be a member of the design team blah blah blah.

For other people reading this thread, you must understand Palmer gets 100's of requests for people to join the design team. However he only has so many contests going on at one time, and so there is only limited places on the design team, otherwise there would be far to many designers and not enough competitions.

Also and Palmer will correct me if I am wrong, I believe unless you have stunning talent there are no openings for logo designers, as for template designers im not sure.
