Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
No text. We already have a logo with text, and what we're looking now is another logo that we can use as a "symbol" in things like the administrator's profile picture and merchandise we might manufacture.

What type of product or service do you offer?
We are a dating site for swingers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swinging

How long have you been in business?
We're launching soon.

What do you hope to accomplish with your this logo?
The two main uses for this symbol will be to act as the administrator's profile main picture, so we need it to look good both in 200x200 as well as 50x50. Also, we may end up manufacturing necklaces and other merchandise with the symbol on it for the members of our site. We want it to look classy and sexy, if possible.


When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
April 6th.

The problem with that picture is that you may focus on the center part of it (in red), which doesn't mean anything. Ideally, I'd like a version of this picture (a couple looking at each other) but with the "space" between the two faces having some kind of meaning on its own, as a silouette: a sexy girl's body, a star, i don't know. be creative

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
We already have a color palette for the rest of the site, so we should use those. Background would be white. And the colors you can use are black or fuchsia (#de0164 to #fa157c). Maybe darker/lighter tones, but around that.

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
Some keywords that you might want to play with: classy, sexy, couples, women, star, community, exclusivity, vip, private club, mask, erotism.

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
That we're a classy, exclusive and sexy community.

What is your tagline or slogan?
Don't have one right now.

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
Same as mentioned above.

Where will your new logo be used?
Will be the symbol of our admin profile (which is used often), and used in merchandise and the like.

Looks good, but one comment though. When I said I liked that picture, I added:

What I mean by that (maybe I wasn't clear) is that the fucshia part (in your entry), ideally should "mean" something. Should be a recognizable silouette of something, not just the rest of the two faces. Keep in mind we'll be using this image in 50x50px form often, as the admin's avatar, and that small, it's difficult to see that the black part are two faces.

Hi Manuel. Just to clarify, does your logo have to have an image in the negative space of a couple looking at each other? That is a very difficult illustration. Can the designers submit other ideas as well?

@Taldo: other ideas are welcome as well, I just pointed out that I really liked that concept. It is indeed difficult, but if someone were to crack it, it would most probably win

@nhr: mmm i dont quite like the style of the drawings for the exclusive, sexy look we want to portrait.

@taldo: i like the concept of an abstract couple. could you try different designs with this idea? maybe with no space between the rectangles, or vertical instead of diagonal, etc.
