[edit-previous topic description]$80 - Non-descript Roadster needed[/edit]

Roadster Life needs a logo to help build its identity.

I'm looking for a fun, care-free, wind in the hair, road hugging, car fanatic logo.

This is a site for people that have roadsters, and love to drive them. Love to clean them, love to fix them up, etc.

But, it's for all models of roadsters. Miatas, BMW, Porsche, Fiat, etc. So, the logo has to work for all of them.

2-Seater Top-down fun.

Can you design a logo that captures that?

I'd prefer to have a car incorporated in the logo somehow. But, it has to be a roadster. Non-descript. It has to look like a roadster, but not look like a specific make. Just a fun, sporty, 2-seater with the top down.

The text is Roadster Life, or RoadsterLife.com (Cap R & Cap L), I'd like the option having the .com with or with out the logo with out changing the logos' look.

I don't have any color preferences in mind, but this has to look good on T-Shirts, Black & white, and as an identity for the website.

Deadline is Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004

Any takers!? Just remember that it's all about 2-Seater Top-down fun.

Cheers!

Vince

I really like the car. That's the idea I am looking for.

Feels like it should be moving the other way (heading right)..

Something about the font doesn't feel right. Although it's light, airy,
I'm looking for more punch. Something stronger.

The car is cool. Love it.

the last two entries look too similar to a z3...

g)(g had a more non-recognisable roadster.

Can you do anything to change the car?

Hi all,

I need to finish this up by the end of next week. March 14.

I like Dougs the best so far, but it's also the only one that doesn't look
like a recognizable convertible. (Z3, Porsche, etc.)

Any other takers for this. Also, You don't have to make it fit roadsterlife.com
I'm going to be completely redesigning the site. Maybe to match the logo.

Anyways, I appreciate any entries.

Doug, I like the logo, but I don't care for the font & text. Any other ways to make it work?

Cheers,

Vince

Doug,

I really like your roadster graphic, but can you do something to make it stronger.
More energy on the lines. Not the wind, but the car lines. It gets lost with heavy text.

The font still doesn't work for me, but I guess the car is more important.

Thanks, it's almost there.

Arthouse,

I love it! Thanks.

I assume I can get these in vector format?

If so... we have a winner!!

Thanks.

Is there any difference besides the placement?
Both if possible. If not let me know the difference between the 2.

Thanks,

Vince

The placement is the only difference between the two... it shouldn't be a problem to produce both variations I guess. I'll PM you to let you know where you can download the files later today.

Thanks!
