I'm having a hard time getting started as a designer, and I'm about to be a fresh graduate.

Sure I can go in as a c programmer all my life but I would love to get my creative juices really flowing! I'm really excited at design outpost and of course hope the admins can see my portfolio to either approve or well...reject me.

Anyways this seems like a great place and I have already sketched a few designs!

Thanks for having this place up. Seems like the best thing since sliced bread (and a heck of a lot healthier than elance)

Yes I have! Just applied and am waiting for a signal green.

I'm really wowed by all your stuff too! I'm not what you would say a graphics designer like my sister (who memorized ALL the pantone color charts and graduated from pratt...*shakes a fist at her genius*). but I am sort of an inbetween programmer artist. kind of a mutt learning what I can while graduating with a multimedia design degree. And I have basically zilch vector graphics knowledge. Everytime I open up illustrator I want to cry.

Traditional animation is my TRUE passion. I would absolutely die to be able to draw in a studio like dreamworks even if I make a substinence living for a few years.

amazing logos eagle. I think logo design is quite difficult without using vectors (no duh) though I do use flash. I swear, as soon as I get flash mx they come out with 4. : /

they update faster than cpus and computer hardware!
