[Project Complete] 4x6 Club Flyer Full Color Both Side $200
(Admin code added by Michael - R927753E)
Hi! This is my first project so please bear with me.
I'm looking to have a 4x6 Club Flyer designed with both front and back in full color. It's a $200 project, so hopefully this will get a lot of interests and some great design.
The 4x6 post card/club flyer should be at least 300 DPI. I will be using either gotprint.com or psprint.com, so feel free to check out their requirement.
I would also like it in mutiple format. I'm guessing as many different format as you can give me, in case i need it in the future.
File Formats Wanted: All typical Formats (PDF, AI, EPS, JPEG, GIF, PNG, PSD
Due Date: I guess one month so Oct 31. But I will definitely close it EARLY, since I was hoping to print them as soon as I can. So I will close the project if someone comes up with something nice!
On the front side, I would like it to advertise/represent AsiaFinest.com .
Here is usually how I describe AF: AsiaFinest.com is a popular online Asian entertainment destination. Everything from Events Coverage to Interviews with Stars! It's motto is "Connecting the World to Asian Culture".
Feel free to check out the site to get a feel for it. Hopefully you guys can come up with a great idea on how the front post card should look. Maybe you can use some Asian celebrities image such as BoA, Utada, or any listed here: http://www.asiafinest.com/featurestars.htm
If you can come up with something that doesn't need any celebrities image, that would be fine as well. Mainly because I don't have any high resolution pictures of their.
- The logo is just a plain font that uses Monotype Corsiva for the Caps and regular Denmark fonts for the rest of the letter. If you want to come up with something better, that would be great!
On the Back side, I would like it to advertise/represent AsianAffection.com
Asian Affection is an online dating destination that connects Asian
worldwide together for a chance to have fun, flirt, and meet new people. Everything from audio to video greetings. Browse, Flirt, Submit your profile for free!
- I have attached a banner to see how some of my ad banners looked like and maybe it can give you an idea as well.
- You can use any of the member's picture on the site for this project, but the resolution of the picture isn't very high.
- The logo on this site is very basic and uses a "love letters" font. If you can come up with a better looking logo for me that would be great!
- On the bottom of the back side, I would like it to say something like this:
Check out MadCool Dating Network: AdultAffection.com | CupidContact.com | EbonyHookUps.com | GALDS.com
Any questions let me know and I'll try and answer them as soon as possible. I will also provide feedback as the designs come in.
THANKS!
Ben

Will this job be posted in the US, and therefore have these specs for backside printing?

Yeah It's going to be used in the US. I don't need an area for a stamp. I just want to give it out like club flyers. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks!

Nope that's it. Just wanted to be sure before I started something.
Thanks!
Oh wait... one more thing...
How do intend to print these? I mean, do you want the colour to go right to the edges of the 4x6 design, or do you require a margin of white around the outside?
Please advise,
Kimber.

I will probably be using either gotprint.com or psprint.com to print these flyer out. Feel free to take a look at those site. But here's what psprint wants.
File types we accept are EPS, PS, PDF, PS, PSD, TIF, and JPG.
Resolution must be at least 300 dpi.
Color mode must be set to CMYK, 8 bit color.
Gradients must not be set below 10%
Bleeds must be 1/8th inch on each edge.
Borders must be at least 1/4th inch.
Fonts must be outlined.
Text must be at least 1/8th inch inside of the cut line on all sides.
Flatten all layers.
This is what GotPrint want:
RESOLUTION:
All file formats must have a minimum of 350 dpi (dot per inch) resolution. Download Templates
The images designed for the web done at a low screen resolution of 72 dpi. Print images need to be created at 350 dpi or there will be a substantial drop in the image quality.
COLOR MODE:
All color artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color mode.
All black & white artworks and/or images must be provided in grayscale color mode.
BLEED:
Please build your press-ready digital files by adding 0 .1" dimension for business cards, postcards, rackcards, and add 0.125" for all other products.

Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb here, and try this:
I'm not sure if it's waht you're looking for, or were even thinking.
Since you're going to be handing them out at clubs, I figured I'd make it a little "clubby".
This is the front: "AsiaFinest.com" if you like it, I'll work something up for the back: "AsianAffection". (Also a little "clubby")

I was pretty much open to anything, but wow that looks great! Definitely eye catching! Very nice.
Can you add this somewhere? maybe towards the bottom or something. That way it'll kind of give them an idea of what the site is about.
Asian Celebrities, Downloads, Entertainment, Events, Forum, Shopping, and more!
Can't wait to see the AsianAffection backside!

Awesome.
I'm glad you like it. I was a little afraid it might be over the top.
Here it is again with your banner added.
I'll for on the second side tomorrow.

Very nice! Banner looks great.
A little note for the backside for asianaffection.
Can you include these site features on the backside:
- It's FREE! Browse, Flirt, Submit your profile for free!
- Pictures, Audios, and Videos greetings
Actually AsianAffection.com's homepage should give you a general idea of what I'm trying to tell people.
Can't wait to see your work! Thanks.
Edit: Actually I was wondering if we can change the logo slightly to more readable font? I showed it to someone, and he said the F kind of looked like a P. Also the blue and red arrow looks like it's pointing into the girl's crotch area, maybe we can change that a little so that people don't get the wrong idea Does this design allow room for it to "bleed"? I notice at the top the word AsiaFinest and culture is touching the end of the flyer.

I'll make the edits to the design and work on the back tonight after work.
Yes this design does allow for a bleed. What I am showing here, is what the finished trimmed card will look like.

And the BACK.
Please advise,
Kimber.
EDIT: I changed the intensity of the heart
in the knockout-woman's chest. It was bugging me,
as it was too overpowering.

Wow it looks great!! I didn't expect anyone to hit it on the first try. You're definitely talented.
The front.. I asked a few more people now. People do like the first font over the second one. So the original one is the best. But the arrow needs to be changed or removed.. The first thing that came to most of their mind was where the arrow was pointing to

Looks great!
Actually I was wondering if you can put the following asian culture into the white part of that girl's body. (Got the idea from your Audio and Video Greeting in the back side ) I just wanted to see how it looks. It's a good way to show people that there is more than just chinese, korean, japanese..
Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Hmong, Filipino, Thai, Khmer, India, Indonesian, Malaysian, Laos
But if it does look cluttered, I'll probably stick to the one you have now.

Thank you.
Here's a new front, with the cultures shown in the knockout of the girl.
I left the gap between Hmong and Filipino on prupose, to give the illusion of her arm being in that space.
Please advise,
Kimber.

I'll get back to you on this in a few days. Seems like there is faulty wiring to my place, so now we're out of electricity for the next few days. But I'm most liking going without the culture listed based on the poll I had at my site. Do you do logos too? I have a logo contest going on called MadCool Network located in the logo section. Thanks

Sorry to hear about your electrical problems that's never any good.
I'll wait to hear back, that's okay. And yes, I do logos. I saw your logo project, it's just that up until now, I haven't been able to think of anything that's "MadCool"
As soon as I do, I'll post it.
Kimber.

I'm going with the blank one.
So how do I end this and pick you as winner?

Just give the word. (Post in here that it's done and you'd like my design as yours). Then I'll prepare the files, and forward you a download link.
How's the electricity by the way? I guess you're up and running?
I'll work on those files.
Kimber.

Post the word? Ok.
Kimber is the winner of this project!
Looking forward to those files. If it helps in anyway, I am going to use PsPrint.com to print these out.
