$100 - CD and CD Box Art
(Admin code added by Palmer - 04E145493A)
I have a pretty simple project to design artwork for a CD and a matching CD box it will go in.
The CD artwork is a standard size for a printed label. Full color.
http://www.cbmall.com/protege/banner.gif
This banner.gif artwork must be incorporated into the design.
Full color is fine.
Additional copy would include:
By Terry Dean
brought to you by Jeff Mulligan
www.terry-dean-protege.com/resources
Copyright (C) Business Systems 2000
Disc XX
I'll need 12 versions if this, they will be the exact same art except the disk number as there are 12 disks in the set.
Final format jpg
Also - the same design and copy can be incorporated into a cover for the box the CDs come in. (Except no disc numbering, web site or copyright info.
measures 6x6 inches.
Finally, I'd like a jpg web graphic that simulates the physical box and 12 CDs. For an example of the type of thing I'm referring to see this:
http://www.web-traffic-secrets.com/
But my graphic would have one box and the 12 CDs laid out.
500-550 pixels wide would be ideal.
I alone will be approving this, so it should go quickly.
Thank you for your interest.

Designer Chosen
Hi Gilles,
I think you've got something very close and with a couple of tweaks we'll have it. We'll work out the rest in the other forum.
Thank you to everyone else.

Revisions
Hi Gilles,
Here are the revisions I'll need.
I'll need files for the CD - and there are 12 of them so I'll need them each numbered Disc 1 - Disc 12
You can delete the $3000/month round emblem.
I need a web graphic with the box you showed, plus the 12 CDs around it like at:
http://www.web-traffic-secrets.com/
If I can get the final files is PSD and jpg that would be great.
The web graphic would have one box and the 12 CDs laid out.
500-550 pixels wide would be ideal.
Take the Disc number and put it on the right in place of the emblem.
Put
By Terry Dean
brought to you by Jeff Mulligan
and the URL
On the bottm left. It can be much smaller.
In its place please add:
How to Research, Create and Market your own InfoProduct to Create AutoPilot Income
That should do it.
But - don't put the URL on the web graphic. I don't want non-customers to see that URL.
Thanks,
jeff

Almost there.
Let's lose the copyright on the cover - we';ll keep it on the actual CD artwork, in small type.
Let's change the copy slightly to read:
How to Research, Create and Market Your Own InfoProduct and Make AutoPilot Internet Income
I think that should do it.

Hello Jeff,
Great to hear that. You want me to use white background on the 500/550 web graphic or you want me to keep the blue gradient I used in that post?
Thank you,
Gilles.

Hi Jeff,
Hope this was the idea for the webgraphic I didn't place any number on the CD box, and I placed the twelewe discs in this order so the number on each case would be visible.
Thank you,
Gilles.

Close.
What I need is three 3-ring binders and the 12 round CDs (not in their boxes). That's because all the CDs will be in one box.
I hacked together what I'm talking about. Perhaps you can see why I'm not a designer
The three ring binders will have different title copy on them:
Protege Action Plan
Protege Transcripts
Protege Special Reports
See: http://www.CBmall.com/protege/hack.htm since I couldn't figure out how to get images in this bbs :{

Hello Jeff,
Let me see if I understand your request correctly: you want three different designs - three ring binders with the titles you showed and the dimensions you requested - 8 1/2 by 11 size and no disc number -
besides the CD label and the webgraphic?
Also, you want me to include the three ring binders in the webgraphic, along with the 12 cd's?
Thank you,
Gilles.

Yes. The exact files would be:
12 Round CD label graphics (numbered)
3 graphics that will be inserted into 3-ring binders. These are 8 1/2 by 11 size.
6x6 insert for CD box
The web graphic as discussed.
I realize the 3 ring binder inserts were added to the project and will be happy to pay an extra $20 for those.
Also - would you be willing to add a few more items to the list for another $50? I need another set of 6 CD labels and a 6x6 inch box cover and a web graphic of these items. These could all use the same background you developed but without the banner graphic I provided and some new copy.
Let me know.
Jeff

Hello Jeff,
I understood so far that you need 12 numbered CD artwork graphics ( standard size for a printed label - square) and I designed those as you requested.
In your last post you say that you need 12 rounded CD label graphics. That means I have to redesign the "printed label" versions(square) posted above and to adapt the graphic to a "round" one ?
For the ring binders I would need a higher resolution banner (maybe 150 or 300 dpi).
Also, I would gladly help you with the extra work, for the 6 CD labels you need.
Thanks,
Gilles.

Ok Jeff,
So you want 12 of those numbered. (the dimension of the graphic is 4,639 inches/ 4,639inches at 72 dpi). I worked with all the files at 72 dpi because of the banner resolution.
Then, you want the webgraphic with 12 cd's and 3 ring binders (8,5/11); 6X6 CD Box graphic.
JPG and PSD final format files.
Gilles.

Ring-binder cover example (original file would have 8/11 inches at 72dpi).
If this is what you've had in mind, I will add the second and third title and put together the webgraphic (3 ringbinder covers and 12 round cd numbered)
Gilles.
