(Admin code added by Palmer - 558584Y)
I'm looking for a new logo for "Bay Bridge Administrators"
Deadline: 13 June 2003 at 3:00 pm Central Time.
Bay Bridge Administrators (BBA) is a Third Party Administrator which specializes in assisting employers with fringe benefit plans. BBA specializes in the administration of Section 125 "Cafeteria" Plans, Tax Sheltered Accounts Administration, and Billing Services for employers.
We are looking for a logo that will be used for print and web, but the priority is for letterhead. We will also be using the logo on marketing material like flyers, pamphlets, business cards.
Ideas:
1. Support towers - Strength, Stability
2. Get you from one side to the other - Moving Forward,
3. Not a geographical recognizable bridge
I have enclosed two URL of bridges that we liked. The use of bridges is not a requirement.

http://www.natlplan.com/bba/bridge2.jpg
I will be running your designs through two of my associates for input and recommendations.
Thanks,
Chris

Hello there. Are there any specific colors you are looking for?

Also, are you looking for something more abstract or more literal? Thanks.

Jackie -
1. Abstract over literal. You should be able to tell it is a bridge, just not a specific bridge(i.e. Golden Gate)
2. Open to color suggestions, but I would prefer not to use red nor blue.

I really liked logos #1 and #3. The bridge in logo #2 just doesn't feel right to me.
My order of rank would be:
1. #1
2. #3
3. #2
I wanted to know if you could come up with something based off this tiff file.

Hi. Here's an entry, tried to keep the colors professtional. Is this what you are looking for? Or are you looking for something less literal? Thanks.

I assume you'd prefer a vector logo, correct?

A few suggestions on your submission.
Suggestion A: Could you
- trim the underneath of the bridge image horizontally across the image at the waterline (underneath the bridge)
- make the "Bay Bridge" text same height
- and move said text right butt up against the bottom of the new image (at the cut of the waterline).
Suggestion B:Could you also
- cut at the same place ... but this time don't discard the waste.
- Move it down (to keep the bridge reflection in the water) and
- insert the "Bay Bridge Administrators" at the new cut. This places the company name at the base of the bridge (does not disturb the reflections) ... but seems to be supporting the bridge.

I'm guessing yes.
A vector image handles resizing better that a bitmap, right?
I just want to be able to turn the images over to a printer and get letterhead, flyers, and business cards. I will also need to get the logo blown up for our display booth.

The 2nd logo looks pretty good.
Is there anyway to make this bridge abstract?
I'm steal leaning towards ElKootcho's first entry. Can you pull anything out of that image and convert to the style of ElKootcho's first entry?

Out of the 3 logos you provided, I liked the one in the bottom right hand corner the best. That bridge logo in the other two just looked plain to me.
I did view some of your other logos posted at http://24.192.15.159/portfolio/LOGOS/INDEX.html#. I really like the logos for "Canopy Skirts" and "Alaska Extreme." Could you create a logo in those styles for BBA?
