Ichi-
Thanks for your submissions again!

Version 3: reminds us too much of the Verizon logo with the predominant checkmark.

Version 4: the checkmark steals all the attention away from the rest of the logo. Good idea to use a checkmark, but we don't feel that a checkmark fits well with the logo.

Thanks for your submission.

Version 3:
I don't feel that the separated letters is for us.

Version 4:
A neat idea with the 'a', but the choice of font doesn't feel right. We'd need the word 'OARBS' to be in upper-case on our logo. If you think you can make it work with upper-case lettering, we'd love to see another revision.

Thank you for the submission, but I think the rounded look of the letters is just not the look we want - something crisper and more defined in the fontface is needed.

shima -
Very interesting idea with the apple-o. The A is unique and certainly does stand out, but it feels very Greek. While that's not necessarily bad, we feel it distracts from the rest of the message.

Could you try something else with the A, or even just make it more traditional? Could we also see a version with the O modified to show more apple on the sides?

Nice idea with the technology font and colour scheme, but I think it's too bold for our tastes.

Tonya-
Thanks for entering the contest! My first impression of that logo gives off a 'recycling' feel, due to the arrows in the O. I don't think such an feeling is what we want to give off. Could you try something else with the O?

Shima,

Yep, we'd like to see the apple O. Of course, if you have something else you'd like to try out, we're open to that as well.

Just a reminder to all designers that the deadline for entries is midnight tonight, and that is when our decision will be made.

Entry 4

Colin and Dan,

I changed the "A" and kept the Apple O. I think the "A" looks more like a gesture a teacher would make when grading a paper. Please do correct me if I am wrong.

Hello everyone!

I'd like to thank everyone who submitted designs for this contest. There was a lot of creativity and some very powerful designs were submitted - I noticed more than one other logo contest used samples from this contest to indicate the look they desired.

That said, bogglins' first design is the winner of this contest!

bogglins, could you please submit some revisions for us before we close this contest?

In particular, changes to the design itself:
1 - change "Software" to "Software Corporation"
2 - put something (a triangle, a circle, whatever you think would fit nicely) into the A in OARBS, in the same colour as the accent colour

As I mentioned earlier, we're still playing with the corporate colours. Could you show us versions in the same red tone as before as well as three or four other colours, so we can get a quick feel for colours?

Again, thank you to all designers - you have made this an amazing experience for us.

Hi bogglins,

Yes please! We'll probably tweak the colours a bit later ourselves, but if you could provide a few different choices just to inspire us, that would be great.

Hi,

just a last follow up to say that bogglins has delivered the final artwork in the appropriate file formats to us.

We are very pleased with the outcome - please consider this contest closed!
